Loading and unloading
Professional management of loading and unloading operations for bulk goods, breakbulk, or special cargo. Each operation is supported by meticulous planning, specific stowage plans, and high-precision lifting equipment.
Cargo handling
Horizontal and vertical handling services within the terminal, performed with dedicated mechanical equipment such as ship loaders, grab cranes, and wheel loaders. We optimize transfer times while ensuring the utmost care for product integrity.
Storage areas
Availability of extensive quayside areas and covered warehouses for temporary storage and safekeeping of goods awaiting final delivery or shipment. Each area is monitored by ground personnel to ensure correct positioning and safe storage.
Support for industrial logistics
Dedicated management of complex industrial flows, including the receipt, accumulation, and loading of ferrous scrap in specially authorized and protected areas. We use polyp grab loaders and physical barriers to ensure environmental protection during every phase.
Specialized waste handling
Certified operations for the handling of special waste such as SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel), baled waste, and end-of-life tires (ELTs). Activities are carried out in delimited areas using dust-free equipment to minimize environmental impact and ensure regulatory compliance.
Container terminal services
A complete operational cycle for container logistics, including unloading, unlashing, twist-lock handling, and movement with reach stackers. We manage organized storage in areas adjacent to the quayside to facilitate rapid cargo turnaround.

Poseidon operates in the commercial port of Augusta with a dynamic infrastructure spanning a total area of 35,000 sqm and a cutting-edge fleet. Our technological strength is built upon high-power port cranes equipped with specialized accessories such as 5 to 18mc grabs and container spreaders, supported by a versatile fleet of ship loaders, reachstackers, and polyp grab loaders. Operational efficiency is guaranteed by a 300-meter berth with an 11.5-meter draft, 10,000 sqm of high-capacity flooring, and covered storage areas, along with an integrated system of hoppers and mechanical equipment that ensure speed and total safety throughout every handling stage.
